Alcalá 237 is the adress where Las Ventas is placed in Madrid. Las Ventas is probably one of the most important bullfights arena around the world.

During May and June, when San Isidro, the patron saint of Madrid, is celebrated, hundreds of fanatics meet around Las Ventas. This work shows how the mood around the arena is. Men and women very well dressed meet about one hour before the bullfight starts. They drink, smoke cigars, speak about the previous bullfight, creating an old times mood.
